Meet Judge Anita Crawford-Willis

My name is Judge Anita Crawford-Willis and I am seeking reelection to my current seat on  the Seattle Municipal Court bench (position 4). I was appointed to the Seattle Municipal Court bench in 2017 and elected to a full term in 2018 after more than 30 years in public service as a Public Defender, Judge Pro Tem and Administrative Law Judge. Following my initial election, I have been reelected twice to continue serving in this role.

As a Seattle native, I am honored to serve our community as a judge and remain committed to upholding the law with integrity and respect for every individual who enters the courtroom. Each day, I strive to ensure that every person is treated with dignity and that our courts remain a place of fairness and justice for all.
